Booking a room with an Eiffel Tower view

Three checks before paying for the view.

  1. Book the category that announces it

The view is described category by category: choose the one that names it, not a “similar” room of the same size.

  2. Check the name with the partner

On a booking site, a category name may differ from the hotel’s own: make sure the offer you choose mentions the view.

  3. Read “partial” closely

A partial view, or a tower mentioned only in the description, does not promise you will see it from the bed or the sofa.

Method and sources

A documentary check, without a visit.

We have stayed at none of these hotels: we read the page of each room and suite category, record the view the hotel announces and the date of reading. A “partial” view, or one only evoked in a text, is flagged as such. Categories and their descriptions can change: check when you book. How we verify
