Who is Les Bains Paris for?

The former Bains Douches in the Marais: 39 rooms and suites, an indoor pool in the club, open to guests, and a MICHELIN Key.

On the Rue du Bourg-l’Abbé, in the Marais, Les Bains occupies the building of the Guerbois baths, created in 1885 according to the hotel, which later became the Les Bains Douches nightclub, then a hotel in 2015. Its 39 rooms and suites were decorated by Tristan Auer, according to the room pages; the Atout France register rates the hotel five stars (rating of 5 December 2022), and the MICHELIN Guide gives it a Key. The hotel also has the Roxo, a restaurant and bar, a club and the Les Bains Guerbois spa.

Fact check-in

The hotel says
One of the world's most exciting hotels
We verified
The hotel attributes the phrase to “Guide Michelin, 2024”: it appears in a MICHELIN Guide article of 8 April 2024 announcing the hotel’s Key (“that’s all before it became one of the world’s most exciting hotels”); the hotel’s page in the Guide still shows “Une Clef MICHELIN” (one Key).
Verdict
Accurate: the phrase comes from a MICHELIN Guide article of 8 April 2024, which announced the hotel’s Key; the Key still appears on its Guide page

The pool and spa at Les Bains Paris

An indoor pool in the club, open to hotel guests; nothing is published for visitors.

The pool at Les Bains is indoors, according to the services listed by the hotel’s booking engine, and is in the club: the private-hire page describes a 160 m² venue with its “Legendary 22 m2 swimming pool”, an area, not a length. The spa presents it as a “vitality pool” with a counter-current swim system, massage jets, bubble jets and a waterfall; in our reading, it is the same pool, as the hotel names only one. In 2015, according to the home page, “the legendary Bains Douches swimming pool is restored to its original glory”.

Every room page lists “free access” to the pool, the steam room and the club for hotel guests. The Les Bains Guerbois spa, in an apartment within the hotel, has a relaxation area, a lounge devoted to the house’s fragrances and two treatment rooms; according to its page, “the experience is rounded out by access to the hotel’s hammam and pool”. No page says whether a visitor may book a treatment, when guests may swim or what rule applies to children: this pool is therefore not compared with the others on our pools page.
