Hotel by hotel: what each offers families

What each hotel publishes in detail; its dated sources are at the end of the page.

Brach Paris

The Superior Room can connect with another room or suite, the Deluxe Room with another room; two suites, Yvonne and Charles, already combine a suite and a Superior Room. The “Moments en famille” offer gives 25% off the second connecting room or suite, with American breakfast and a family afternoon snack; its price is not published. No babysitting is mentioned.

Le Bristol Paris

The Family Deluxe Garden configuration combines two connecting rooms: 90 m² for 2 adults and 2 children (not four adults), subject to availability. The booking engine charges the full rate from age 11. A play area is announced on the sixth floor, and babysitting is arranged on request.

Bvlgari Hotel Paris

Several categories connect: the Executive Room with a suite, the Executive Room Terrace with the Deluxe Suite Terrace; the booking engine says “Connecting rooms are available (for some rooms)”. The French offers page announces 50% off a connecting room; we could read neither its terms nor its dates.

Hôtel de Crillon

The Crillon sells six family suites that combine other categories (a room or a junior suite with a suite, the Ateliers d’Artistes, the Grands Appartements, the Bernstein and Louis XV suites); they are booked by e-mail, not through the booking engine. An extra bed costs €200 a night from age 14, in some categories. The Le Petit Crillon page, in French, lists items and a menu for children, without ages or prices; no babysitting is published.

Hôtel Fouquet’s Paris

The Superior Connecting Room combines two Superior Rooms: 74 m² for 4 guests. The family page announces up to 30% off the second room for children under 12 (Flexible Rate, subject to availability, not combinable, no end date), but the offer no longer appears in the offers list: ask for it when you book. Cots free on request, extra beds charged in some categories.

Before booking as a family

Three precautions, drawn from what the hotels write… and what they do not.

  1. No connecting room is guaranteed online: ask the hotel in writing, with your dates, before you pay.
  2. Second-room offers (Bvlgari Hotel Paris, Le Meurice, Hôtel Plaza Athénée, Le Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris, Hôtel Fouquet’s Paris, and Brach Paris) are published on the hotels’ websites, often without detailed terms: check that they apply to your booking and your dates.
  3. Give the children’s exact ages: depending on the hotel, a child pays the full rate from 11, counts as an adult from 13 or stays free up to 18.

The pool with children

Minimum age, supervision, set hours: the rules seven hotels publish for children at the pool are compared on our pools page.

Method and sources

A documentary check, without a stay.

We have stayed at none of these hotels: we read their official pages, record the date of each reading and keep only what they state clearly. An offer or a connecting room always depends on availability: confirm it with the hotel before booking. How we verify

Not compared here, as no connecting rooms are verified on its pages: Mandarin Oriental Lutetia
